Melbourne / Victoria transit (20 May), London transit (14 Sep),
Greenock transit (15 Sep), and boxed Stornoway arrival in blue (20
Sep), endorsed "per first mail", manuscript "8" pence ship letter
rate, crossed-out red manuscript "1/8" likely correcting a
misapplied double-rate or packet fee, small repairs where seals
removed, otherwise a fine-very fine example of correspondence from
the Ballarat gold fields, sent months before the Eureka Rebellion.
