1914 (October 25), SMS Moltke feldpost postcard, preparing to
attack England, postcard depicting the German crsuiers "Goeben" and
"Breslau", struck on reverse with violet S.M.S. Moltke / Kommando
handstamp, with Wilhelmshaven c.d.s. alongside (25 October), to
Kirchberg, trivial edge stains, a scarce marking, sent from the
ship two months after its participation in the Battle of Heligoland
Bight; a week after this card was postmarked, the Moltke steamed
towards the English coast and bombarded Yarmouth.
