c.d.s. (3 Jan), usual edge wear, but an elusive card from this
delayed flight. The Aerial Post was re-opened for a second mail
intended for New Year’s Day; adverse weather delayed departure
until the evening of 2 January, when pilot Cecil Compton Paterson
Driver again flew from Kenilworth carrying 1,479 items of mail to
Muizenberg.
