1914 (July 3), postage due registered cover from Nogales, Sonora to Los Angeles, California, franked with a 5c green and a pair of 20c brown Mexican definitives tied by a Nogales / Son. c.d.s. (3 Jul), determined upon arrival to be short-paid, initial "Due 14 Cents" struck through and revised to "Due 20 Cents," with the deficiency collected by the application of 10c green Parcel Post Postage Due, and two pairs of 2c deep claret Postage Due, cancelled in Los Angeles, reverse with Nogales, Ariz. transit (6 Jul) and Los Angeles, Cal. arrival (7 Jul) backstamps, some creasing and light edge toning, but the use of the 10c Parcel Post Postage Due being quite unusual.
