1932 (August 1), Iloilo to Manila, Fernando Rein pilot signed first flight cover, franked with 2c through 30c "L.O.F. / 1928" overprinted Air Post issues, tied by black "VIA AIR MAIL" illustrated handstamps, the 16c and 20c further tied by circular blue "SPECIAL FLIGHT / ILOILO - MANILA / AUG 1 1932 / F REIN LORING..." cachet, endorsed in manuscript "Por correo aereo (aviador Rein)" with pilot's bold "F Rein" signature alongside, reverse with crisp Manila duplex receiver (2 Aug), a lovely cover, scarce and very fine. Spanish aviator Fernando Rein y Loring (1902-1978) was a celebrated aviation pioneer who famously completed historic solo flights from Madrid to Manila in 1932 and 1933.
