1940 (December 17), Y-Force Jamaica, Winnipeg Grenadiers censored registered cover to Montreal, franked with 1/- KGV of Jamaica, tied by Kingston c.d.s. and oval Kingston-Jamaica / Registered datestamp, neatly-struck with blue oval Military Censor / Winnipeg Grenadiers, with c.d.s. arrival backstamp, Miami transit (17 Dec), handstamp of sender George Trist on back flap, with a newspaper cutout from the Mid Ocean Bermudan (21.2.42) noting that Major George Trist was safe following participation in the Battle of Hong Kong and had been taken prisoner by the Japanese.
