1854 (September 29), registered cover from Liverpool to Willemstad, Holland, prepaid at the 1s7d rate (1s1d postage plus 6d registration), franked with strip of three 1d red-brown, Plate 195, 2d pale blue, Plate 4, and four-margin 1sh green, the 2sh and 1d cancelled by Liverpool '466' numerals, the strip placed at lower left, initially uncancelled in Liverpool and subsequently cancelled with manuscript cross, struck with London Crown registration marking, with London tombstone (30 Nov) datestamp at right, reverse with Liverpool (29 Nov) and Willemstad (12 Dec) backstamps, an extremely attractive registered cover and rare mixed franking, exceptional visual appeal; with 2021 BPA certificate.
