1869 (March 31), Akyaab to Paris, three-colour franking cover, franked with 8p mauve, 8a pale rose (Die II), and 2a orange, paying the 10a8p rate via India, all tied by two clear strikes of the “Akyab” duplex and choice strikes of "Paul Auschitzky & Co. / AKYAB" sender's chop, framed “PD” handstamp on front, with Calcutta (4 Apr) and Paris (3 Jun) backstamps, the colours fresh, and eye-catching three-colour franking, scarce and very fine.
