1863 (February 18), Calcutta to Worcestershire, endorsed “via Bombay & Marseilles,” folded cover franked with 1856–64 2a yellow-buff and 4a black, tied by bold “B/1” octagonal cancels and manuscript "Stamped,” struck with choice CALCUTTA / INDIA PAID / 1 duplex in black at centre, the reverse bearing Bombay (26 Feb) and Bewdley (23 Mar) backstamps, paying the 6a rate, trivial filing, an eye-catching and scarce usage of superior quality.
