1917, Germany to South West Africa via the International Bureau for Peace in Bern, Switzerland, franked with 25c blue Seated Helvetia, tied by Bern machine cancel (25 Aug), handstamped in violet "Via Cape Town", struck with circular rose "Passed Censor / C.12", to Swakopmund, redirected to Gobabis, bold strike of DETAINED straight-line in black, censor seal along back, tied by oval Swakopmund mutilated bahnpost datestamp (2 Feb, 1919), tear through back flap, but a striking cover, held for a year and a half in transit.
